KCG Knowledge Base

A living source of truth for Kovach Consulting Group: methodology, operations, and the design system.

This wiki is PMI/PMBOK-grounded for operational structure, with KCG's coaching methodology layered on top. It serves two audiences:

1. Internal use — the daily reference for how KCG runs as a business, what its methodology is, and how the client portal works.
2. Licensable product (future) — the same content, themed per licensee, distributed as a branded knowledge base for partner organizations.

Trunks

The wiki has four content trunks plus an interactive tools area. Each trunk is independently navigable.

• Methodology — the licensable core. KCG's coaching frameworks (root cause, strategic problem solving, structural clarity, beyond accommodation, leadership for different minds, psychological safety) and the practices that connect them.
• Operations — how KCG runs. Structured by the ten PMBOK knowledge areas (integration, scope, schedule, cost, quality, resource, communications, risk, procurement, stakeholder).
• UI & Design System — the design system used by the client portal app, including tokens, components, brand guidelines, and voice/style.
• Library — reference material: glossary, framework summaries, and source readings.
• Tools — interactive HTML tools (weekly dashboard, content calendar, speaker tracker, etc.) that live alongside the documentation.

How this is maintained

Pages have a YAML front matter block with owner and last-updated so a stale-content audit can run on cadence. Where a page mirrors a source elsewhere (e.g., the glossary mirrors the course materials repo), the page says so at the top. Don't dual-write — change the source and re-mirror.
