Operations

How KCG runs as a business. Structured by the ten PMBOK 8th edition knowledge areas, with KCG-specific tools, templates, and processes mapped to the area where they belong.

PMI's structure is the backbone for two reasons:

  1. Recognizability. A licensee or partner trained in PMP recognizes the structure immediately and can find what they're looking for.
  2. Defensibility. PMBOK is a defensible, externally-validated framework — the wiki doesn't have to argue for its own organization.

KCG terminology layers on top of the PMI structure rather than replacing it.

Each area gets an index.md with a one-paragraph PMBOK-grounded definition of what the area covers, plus the tools and pages within it. Phase 3 builds these out.
